Music Concerts
We’ve been fortunate to have received an overwhelming response for our events in Hyderabad, some of them have received an unprecedented success (houseful / sold out). It wasn’t until recently that Hyderabad has had an active music culture. It gives us immense pleasure to have contributed to a developing environment of music events. We’ve hosted quite a few Public & Private Events.
We invited International Musicians & Educators from around the globe (London, New Zealand & more) to perform & teach in Hyderabad. These events witnessed Music lovers, students & their parents participating in full strength to support the cause and get inspired.
9th Annual Recital:
Klavier Academy’s 9th Annual Recital was hosted on 14th December, 2024.
A musical fete hosted was held and words cannot describe the overwhelming feeling of having a line up 58 performance registrations & an enthusiastic audience to support & cheer during our Morning Concert & Evening Concert.
8th Annual Recital:
Words cannot describe the joy we experienced @ The 8th Annual Recital.
The nervous yet excited performers, the supportive audience eager to watch their loved ones on stage & team Klavier Academy striving to create a magical & musical evening for the whole Klavier Academy family.
Kudos to all the performers who worked hard for months. Big Thank you to all the attendees to shower so much love & encouragement to all performers and participate wholeheartedly.
7th Annual Recital:
The 7th Annual Recital was hosted on 21st January, 2023 @ Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad.
We’re humbled to share that this much awaited event was nothing short of a celebration.
After a gap of over 3 years of an offline Recital, all the students & their families gathered in a house full auditorium to cheer each other and enjoy an evening of music.
Performances by students of all walks of life sharing their love for music, combined with diverse genres of music and splendid enthusiasm and participation by the audience, it was certainly a memorable evening for the Klavier Academy family.
There was also a special performance by the Director of Klavier Academy, Mr. Mohit Dodwani.
The enthusiasm and encouragement of the audience reflected their high spirits towards the experience of this event.
Bollywood Soirée:
Hyderabad hosted it’s first ever Piano Concert for Hindi Film Music. Featuring songs across multiple decades, from Kishore Kumar to A.R. Rahman, Mohd. Rafi to Arijit Singh, Lata Mangeshkar to Jasleen Royal, Mohit Chauhan and more.
The enthusiasm and encouragement of the audience reflected their high spirits towards the experience of this event.
Mostly Mozart:
Held on 25th January 2020, we had a Sold Out response to this event, featuring reputed Musicians from Hyderabad such as Hema Gulati, Ashrita D’Souza, Mohit Dodwani, and the London based Virtuoso Pianist, Mr. Karl Lutchmayer. This event was held at Alliance Francaise.
Celebrating Mozart’s 264th birthday, we had an overwhelming response from Music lovers across Hyderabad.
Going by the title of the concert, we had performances of Mozart’s beautiful compositions for Voice & Piano, besides some wonderful pieces by other composers as well, beautifully performed & explained about by the Maestro, Mr. Karl Lutchmayer.
Rendezvous with Piano:
Hosted on 31st March 2018, this Music concert brought to music lovers an array of musical pieces written for the Piano, composed by some of the greatest names in western music history, performed by the Steinway Artist, Mr, Karl Lutchmayer.
He swayed the audiences with the music of Liszt, Chopin, Bartók, Schulz, Wagner, and Debussy, the likes of which, Hyderabad had never witnessed before.
Being an interactive performance, Mr. Karl explained between playing about the context of the composition and some fascinating insights about the elements in the music. It was truly a memorable evening.
We also had a Piano Masterclass the following day.
Mozart (The Man. The Music. The Magic):
Hosted on 4th February 2017, this Music Concert featured the Russian Pianist & Educator, Ms. Natallia K Kapylova, along with esteemed Musicians from Hyderabad, together to celebrate Mozart’s birth anniversary. The event was supported by Museemusicals.
From Choir Music to Piano Duets, Solo Singing to Violin Performance, these were a prelude to the highlight of the evening, the Piano Performance by the Belarus (Russian) Pianist, Ms. Natallia K Kapylova. It was indeed a spectacular experience to dive into the works of the genius and to listen to the Artist talk about them, to the audiences.
This was Hyderabad’s most expensive Music Concert to that date and it went ‘Houseful’.
We also had a Masterclass the following day @ Museemusials. Music enthusiasts & students came about with great spirit to learn from Ms. Natallia.
Musical Evenings:
Held on 12th March 2016, this concert was a collaborative effort with Mr. Chaitanya Marneni (Pianist & Teacher from Hyderabad) and Museemusicals. It featured a brightly talented Pianist from Mumbai, Ms. Apurva Devarajan. She was awarded ‘Young Musician of the year – 2016’, besides then completing the LTCL in Piano Performance from Trinity College London.
Apurva performed works by Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, Brubeck, Ginastera, Mozart & Albéniz. The event was an interactive show as we wanted the audience to fully understand & appreciate the music that was to be performed.
From being featured in media to receiving a ‘Sold Out’ response, this was an incredible beginning for our first music concert in Hyderabad.
P.S: Many claims that this was Hyderabad’s first ever sold out music concert.
Annual Recitals by Klavier Academy (since 2015):
Passionate music students, always so encouraging family members, moments of fun, laughter, ecstasy, pride, some jitters, a blend excitement & nervousness felt by performers, the speechless pleasure felt by Klavier Academy team hosting it, this emulates the experience of Annual Recitals by Klavier Academy.
Beginning from 2015, we’ve hosted this flagship event every December. The pandemic struck 2020 was an exceptional but we have embraced the new normal and hence hosting a Virtual Recital 2021, this December.
The Annual Recital is the most awaited event through the year by our students and their families. Our performers have included Grandchildren (as young as 3 years old) to Grandparents, basically all ages. The music performed varies from Western Classical Music to Pop Songs in multiple languages, from Christmas carols to Original Compositions & more.
